Science solves carbon puzzleFeb 14, 2008
ANU oceanographer Andrew Hogg has debunked one of the last arguments against global warming: that surges in CO2 levels have lagged behind warming at the end of ice ages, and thus the warming seen today cannot be blamed on the burning of fossil fuels. Andrew has shown "The end of the ice age was triggered by orbital variations which increased temperature, but carbon dioxide amplified the size of the temperature variation by a factor of ten."
